Another month has passed, which means it's time to share the latest enhancements to our software. In this month's update, we're excited to introduce targeted improvements to our Lightspeed integrations, designed to deliver a more seamless experience for managing bookings and payments. Additionally, we've rolled out valuable updates to the membership feature. Let's take a closer look at what's new and how these changes can benefit your workflow.
Lightspeed updates
Working on improving the integration with Lightspeed is always a priority. Here is a short list of the updates:
- Membership charges to Lightspeed retail
- Sync membership to customer type in Lightspeed retail
- Sync packages to the customer's credit balance in Lightspeed retail and adjust the balance with every package booking
- Checkout packages through Lightspeed Retail
New features
Add an image to your resource schedules.
Add a customized image to each resource schedule for enhanced clarity and a more personalized experience. With this update, administrators and clients can now view a visual representation of the resource, making it easier to identify the schedule and streamline navigation, especially for academies with multiple resources and schedules.
Add consent rules at registration.
We've introduced the ability to customize consent rules during client registration. This can be used to add marketing consent, terms and conditions, and waivers, helping you maintain transparency with your clients and work with privacy standards. This enhancement ensures a confident onboarding experience for your organization and clients, strengthening trust and compliance from the first interaction.
Schedule future memberships
We've created advanced scheduling for memberships, allowing you to plan membership activations in advance. With these enhancements, you’ll experience greater flexibility for pre-booking memberships and managing recurring member engagements, helping you maximize occupancy and streamline operations.
Allow bookings outside of resource availability
We've introduced an advanced booking flexibility feature that empowers both professionals and clients to schedule appointments even when a specific resource—such as a court, simulator, or coaching space—is marked as unavailable within standard operating hours or blocked times. This enhancement is ideal for accommodating special circumstances or exception scenarios, such as private training sessions
Packages can be linked to pricing periods.
Packages can now be linked to specific pricing periods, giving you greater control over how packages are offered and managed throughout the year. This means you can tailor package availability and rates for different peak prices or promotional windows, ensuring pricing aligns with your business strategy and maximizing both flexibility and revenue potential.
Fixes and improvements
We've also worked on some more minor fixes and improvements. These fixes are just as important, and therefore, we've compiled a list of all the fixes done within this update:
- Academies can now add images to resources in the client view
- Academy shows the schedule when a package is booked in the client detail page
- It is now possible to change the Package status from 'not shared' to 'shared
- Send a payment link through email when a membership is assigned through the backend
- Add memberships to the mobile app
- Improvements to the shortest duration function
- Improved sending vouchers through email, and more adjustments are possible for the branding
- Fixed the issue when booking multiple dates with a sub-account
- Fixed the issue when booking multiple days with a package
- Fixed branding on some pages
- Now only showing the correct match between selected schedules, packages, and appointment types in academy settings
- Minor bug fixes and improvements
