Earl Grey Golf Club
Meet Scott Stiles, Head Teaching Professional at Earl Grey Golf Club. The Earl Grey Golf Club employs seven golf professionals, including himself. As a Head Professional, Scott has a significant role in organizing various camps and clinics and supporting other Earl Grey Golf Club professionals with their day-to-day business. With the short golf season in Calgary, Scott also has an indoor performance center allowing him to teach year-round.
Before ProAgenda, Scott did not use any other booking system to organize all the incoming bookings. Scott could not keep up with all the bookings and knew he needed something to help him. "I didn't use anything before. It really was that first summer of Covid-19 where things just went crazy", he says.
Scott had looked at other systems but decided he needed a platform more specific to golf. "I didn't look too much because I wanted to set up immediately. So, I talked a bit to ProAgenda ambassador Guy Woodman and immediately signed up." Starting with the ProAgenda, Scott got full assistance from product expert Bob. "So, when I first started out with my own agenda and lessons, it was fairly easy," he starts. "But after a couple of phone calls with Bob, I decided to set up the academy, and together we figured out what worked and how we could set everything up together. And optimize what we were doing. It was a really simple process; anytime we needed anything, it was effortless to get ahold of you, and we usually could set up a call within one or two days."
When talking about the benefits of the ProAgenda, Scott mentions multiple benefits. "What I like most about the ProAgenda is that whenever someone wants to book a lesson, I have the link to my agenda ready, I text or email them, and it all takes me 30 seconds." Saving time is a big plus for Scott. "The amount of time it saves me without having to go back and forth, especially that first summer, I bet it saved me 5 to 8 hours a week!"
Another important aspect of the ProAgenda is the billing of lessons. Scott used to bill all his lessons at the end of the month and has now found that the ProAgenda helps him out even on that front. "Those are the two biggest things I can't live without anymore. I mean, it makes life so much easier."
The switch for Scott's clients has been very smooth since he was sure that the booking system was the only way to book lessons with him from now on. People were quick to realize that using the system was easier for them as well, is immediately had one overview. "Some 'older' people who are less tech-savvy had a harder time switching to an online system. Those people needed some instruction, but other than that, it has been pretty smooth." Having ProAgenda added significant value to the Earl Grey Golf Club by helping with time management and simplified client management.
